Things you should prepare prior to submitting my application:

• Correct and the most recent visa form according to visa type, which has been originally filled and signed by applicant.
• Related supporting documents.
• Visa fee according to visa type (cash, credit/debit card (please bring the physical card to AVAC for the transaction) or tax invoice for Visa fee paid for in Australia).
• Service charge per passport 160,000 IDR in the form of cash or credit/debit card (please bring the physical card to AVAC for the transaction). 
• A copy of the first page of your valid passport (first page which bears your photo and identification). This copy will be stamped by the submission officer. Keep it with you to be used for any other activity related to your application at AVAC, including the collection.
• If you are unable to submit the original passport because you need it for travelling to other countries while your Australian Visa application is being processed, you are required to submit a copy of page 1, 4 and 5 of your passport as a temporary substitution. Please send or directly submit the original passport to our office once you are back from your travel.
• You may appoint a representative to lodge your Visa application to AVAC on your behalf. Kindly provide an authority letter stating this arrangement, along with the copy of your ID and your representative’s.
• Visa applications are not required to be lodged physically to AVAC. You may opt for you courier service to pick up your documents from the comfort of your own home or office. Once the Visa application process is completed by the Embassy, we will return the passport to your desired address. Please refer to menu “Postal Application” for more details.

Standard processing times (for complete applications) are listed below:

• Visitor Visa – 5 working days
• Short Business Visa – 3 working days
• Students and Student Guardian – 15 working days
• Temporary Resident Visa – 15 working days
• Transit Visa – 3 working days
• Medical Treatment Visa – 3 working days
• Visa Label Evidencing – 3 working days
